Step back in time once again as the Civil War comes to life amidst the blasts of musketry, the roar of the canons
and the smell of campfires as soldiers recreate the bivouac and clash of the Union and Confederate Armies.
Held on this historic site, Oak Grove Farm has over 100 acres of fields and woods
that are ideal for a large encampment along with tactical, and two full scale battles.
All branches of service are welcome and the spacious battle field will serve well for Infantry, Artillery and Cavalry
maneuvers during the engagements.
Weekend schedule will include:
Infantry, Artillery, Cavalry and Medical
Demonstrations. Military and Civilian activities. Impromptu
skirmishing.
Afternoon battles followed by Medical scenario’s.
Camps will be open to the public from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
on Saturday and 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Sunday. Saturday evening activities in the Union
Camp will be open to the Public.
Spectator admission and parking are free.
Food and beverage will be available for purchase on site. All proceeds or donations will benefit the Millis Historical Commission.
Supplies and goods can be purchased from a variety of Sutlers (Civil
War Merchants) as well.
